Pallet Shuttle

A pallet shuttle is a standalone, automated, deep lane pallet storage system that utilizes self-powered shuttle carriages to move pallets toward the back or front in a racking channel. Shuttles are motor driven and travel along rails within a storage lane.

This type of automated storage and retreival system benefits warehouse operators by significantly expanding storage density within a facility.

Fewer forklift aisles are necessary, and as a result, former aisle space can be converted to storage.

Cart mounted sensors allow pallet shuttles to deposit unit loads as close together as possible, maximizing storage capacity within each land. Vertical storage capacity is also enhanced because shuttles require very little clearance between levels.
